"Since Thanksgiving is coming up next week, let's use this week's Hop to share what we are most thankful for and what our holiday traditions are!"Being English and living in England I can’t answer the second part of the question as we don’t do Thanksgiving over here. That makes us sound miserable and ungrateful, doesn’t it? We don’t have a Thanksgiving holiday here, although in my first year at university some of the American students put on a Thanksgiving evening, which I seem to remember involved eating some kind of pumpkin and marshmallow concoction and watching a Peanuts cartoon.
I am thankful for some very good friends and a family who love me just the way I am without expecting me to be something else. For storytelling in all its forms, written or visual, which offers escape and exploration, as well as a way to understand the world and life.
